Jodie Comer Wows in a Ruffled Micro Mini Dress at the Olivier Awards

Jodie Comer took centre stage at the prestigious Olivier Awards on 2 April, both during the award show and on the red carpet. The 30-year-old arrived at the Royal Albert Hall in London wearing a stunning red Alexander McQueen gown as she later picked up the best actress award for her incredible performance in the one-woman play, "Prima Facie".

Styled by Elizabeth Saltzman, the "Killing Eve" star oozed Hollywood glamour in the gorgeous off-the-shoulder gown. Straight from the autumn / winter '23 collection, the dress featured a mullet hem, meaning a micro mini at the front, with the fabric falling to the floor at the back. The real star of the frock was the statement, structured ruffle across the bodice which cascaded down the front. She teamed the dress with matching red, strappy heels, but kept accessories to a minimum, leaving the bardot neckline clean to allow all eyes on the dress.

Comer's look was finished via her glam squad. Alex Babsky gave Comer a gorgeous glow by mattifying only select areas of her skin so that the glow of her Noble Panacea Radiant Resilience Moisturiser could shine through, while giving her a chic sweep of black eyeliner, and a glossy neutral lip. Sam McKnight pinned her hair into a low bun, while pulling out tousled sections at the front to frame her face, while Sabrina Gayle gave her nails a chic pale pink mani.

Comer later smiled for the cameras alongside Oscar nominee Paul Mescal, who bagged the award for Best Actor at the Olivier Awards for his performance in "A Streetcar Named Desire". The Irish star was suited and booted for the occasion, although later proved he's still one of us at heart by celebrating his win in McDonald's.

The evening was also full of more of our favourite British stars, including Aimee Lou Wood, Hannah Waddingham, and Self Esteem.
