When thinking of Princess Peach, it's likely you remember voluminous bubblegum pink dresses, but she's had a badass makeover in the latest movie as the animated character dons a ready-for-action pink driving jumpsuit. And Taylor-Joy wasn't about to let her character have all the fun so she channelled her animated alter-ego to prove she means fashion business. "The Menu" star, styled by Ryan Hastings, added fuchsia pink knee-length moto boots, leather driving gloves, and a buckled waist belt to really lean into the 'fit. Plus, a little glamour came in the form of some drop pearl and gold earrings.
While the top-to-toe pink ensemble, which doubles up as the ultimate Barbiecore look if you're looking to celebrate yet another childhood character's film release later this year, was pretty special, Taylor-Joy's makeup was given a decidedly darker feel for the occasion. Georgie Eisdell gave the actor a smudged, grey, smoky eye, with a glossy darker pink lip and, naturally, peach cheeks, while Gregory Russell kept her bleach blonde hair in a middle parting with a soft wave. The only thing missing? A Princess Peach crown, of course.
She might cosplay as video game royalty, but Taylor-Joy has been serving us a number of looks that have seen her take the style crown of late. From her liquid bronze mani at the 2023 BAFTAs to cutout dresses and invisible heels, she never fails to disappoint in the fashion stakes. It was also no surprise that her latest look comes straight from French fashion house, Dior. Taylor-Joy is a global ambassaador for the brand and wowed in a plunging corset at the Haute Couture show at Paris Fashion Week in January.
